Coming to Rest

As the evening winds down, puppies Remington and Colt take a brief break from their sheep-guarding, the chimney swifts and purple martins flit overhead, the thunder rolls lazily in the distance, and the sky purples over as the last beams of sun remain visible. All creation finishes another cycle of day, resting in the beauty and richness of all that God has provided. Amen.
