Dinner Bell

The ewes cluster around two large troughs for their human-provided evening repast. Ewenique (collared, beside right gatepost) looks up in hope of an additional handful of feed. (She is indeed spoiled, but that’s half the fun of a bottle lamb!). The female sheep are well guarded by the two Pyrenees pups, off-camera as they patrol the woods at the opposite end.  Safe and content, the girls will soon settle in for the night.
