Free-Fall Tree Fall

What are the odds this huge branch would fall off and then down to land as it did?  In its resting place, it looks like Ginger all dressed up and waiting for Fred for the dance to start. Maybe this was the reverse of Royal Wedding - Fred danced down and the tree gave way!
