Ruger stands guard in front of “his” goats, as if to say, don’t even think of doing it; I’ve got them covered! The determination of Great Pyrenees to protect their charges is truly amazing. In the glowing sunlight, the dog’s true grit stands out while the animals he fiercely protects (when necessary) chow away in apparent unawareness of any potential threat. It’s a peaceable kingdom for the goats and sheep, while the guard dogs work round the clock. Three cheers to all livestock guardians!!!
