Pollinator Palooza

Pollinator Palooza

The honeybees are buzzing on these black-eyed Susans (Rudbeckia hirta), basking in the soft morning light from above and below.  Carpenter bees and various butterflies also take delight in the delicious pollen of these native wildflowers (which, admittedly, have been planted by seed because no wild ones happen to grow on the farm!). Enjoy that morning cuppa, ye pollinators!
