An osprey has spent some serious quality time - most of the weekend - at Loch Ross. From its plumage, it is definitely a male bird. From its distinctive call and swoop-to-water movement, it is definitely an osprey. According to Merlin Bird ID, the osprey is a rare sighting here, most likely on a migration path. We’re encouraged by his so-far two-day stay that he may decide to stick around a bit longer. Let’s make you less rare, Mr. O!
