The Pinkness of Peace

In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. — Psalm 4:8

As another lovely summer day draws to its close, the sheep settle down in the safety of their fold.  Their Pyrenees puppies are there to protect, and the gentle pink sky provides a few more moments of security before the darkness of night sets in.  We humans can also lie down and sleep in the hope of comfort and protection. Amen.
